The primary focus of the student view is the registration form. Student view should be mobile friendly.

User Journey

First-Time Registration

Students new to the system complete a one-time onboarding process before accessing party registration:

Onboarding:

• Sign up and authenticate via Onyen SSO
• View Party Smart attendance requirement
• A banner on the dashboard prompts students to complete their contact profile (phone number and contact preference) before registering a party

Party Smart Requirement:

• Students must attend a Party Smart info session before submitting registrations
• A status banner indicates completion status and links to external scheduling portal
• Form submission is disabled until requirement is met
• Students must re-attend every academic year (the academic year resets on the configured switch date, default August 1st)

After Completion:

• Status banner updates to show eligibility
• Registration form becomes available
• Submitted parties appear in "My Parties" section

Returning Users

Students who have previously registered parties can immediately access and submit the registration form upon login.
